Author Description Harriet Myrtle was the pen name of Lydia Falconer Miller (1812 – 1876), a writer of books for children and the wife of the Scottish geologist and writer, Hugh Miller.<br /><br />Her novel <i>Passages in the Life of an English Heiress</i> was published in 1847.
