Author Description I am a husband and a father of five. I am a practicing lawyer. I am both religious and spiritual in my approach to the world. I love love love basketball and still dream about dunking from time to time. My best friend died when I was 17. When I was 19 I lived in Madagascar for two years and spent my time sharing the good news and learning to love my fellow human beings. <br /><br />I'm an Alberta, Canada boy born and raised. Grew up in a small town of about five thousand people where basketball was what kept me out of trouble, well, out of major trouble. I had three children under seven while I was in law school, four by the time I was articling and five not too long after. I love the little pudgy fingers and rolly-polly arms on 18 month olds. <br /><br />I'm not super good at being an employee. Don't get me wrong, I work really hard, but much prefer working for myself.
